The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 47,326.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Claude Vignon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Joseph Interpreting Dreams In Prison in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 435,000.00 (€ 356,236.18).
