Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Deux Cibles by Claude Tousignant for CAD 6,600.00 (€ 4,809.81). This price was achieved in the auction Important Canadian Art at Sothebys in Toronto and was even below the estimate range of CAD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Tousignant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accélérateur Chromatique 90 in November 2012 with an auction result of CAD 129,000.00 (€ 99,838.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Deux Cibles von Claude Tousignant für CAD 6.600,00 (€ 4.809,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CAD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Tousignant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accélérateur Chromatique 90 im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 129.000,00 (€ 99.838,66).
