The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,877.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Designs For Nursery Rhymes is the most expensive artwork by Claude Lovat Fraser that we have observed at auctions so far.
