Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Mon repos aux Tuileries 2 by Claude Lévêque for EUR 1,250.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Lévêque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Soirwhite Neon Tubes And Transformer in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 73,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mon repos aux Tuileries 2 von Claude Lévêque für EUR 1.250,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Lévêque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Soirwhite Neon Tubes And Transformer im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 73.500,00.
