Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pain-pieds by Claude Lalanne was sold in the Surrealism and Its Legacy auction at Sothebys in Paris in March last year. It achieved a price of EUR 69,300.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Lalanne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Banc Crocodiles in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 2,432,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pain-pieds von Claude Lalanne wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Surrealism and Its Legacy bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 69.300,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Lalanne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Banc Crocodiles im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.432.500,00.
