In the The Surrealist World of Rosalind Gersten Jacobs and Melvin Jacobs auction, the work Collier 'Mimosa' sold for USD 30,240.00 (€ 28,180.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Lalanne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Banc Crocodiles in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 2,432,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Claude Lalanne erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Surrealist World of Rosalind Gersten Jacobs and Melvin Jacobs wurde die Arbeit Collier 'Mimosa' für USD 30.240,00 (€ 28.180,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Lalanne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Banc Crocodiles im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.432.500,00.
