Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Bleu - Circa 1965 by Claude Gilli. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,730.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Gilli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ex Voto (Johny Hallyday) - 1961 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 74,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bleu - Circa 1965 von Claude Gilli zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.730,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Gilli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ex Voto (Johny Hallyday) - 1961 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 74.100,00.
