Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mother and Child by Claude Charles Buck was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021. The price achieved of USD 1,147.50 (€ 1,013.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Claude Charles Buck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Leslie in Red Blouse in August 2018 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,006.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mother and Child von Claude Charles Buck wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.147,50 (€ 1.013,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Charles Buck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Leslie in Red Blouse im August 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.006,73).
