Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Seated nude with flowers by Clarisse Loxton Peacock for GBP 216.00 (€ 321.21). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Clarisse Loxton Peacock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers on a chair in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,516.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seated nude with flowers von Clarisse Loxton Peacock für GBP 216,00 (€ 321,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Clarisse Loxton Peacock auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers on a chair im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.516,80).
