In the British, Continental and Russian Pictures auction, the work Bright flowers in a yellow vase, a yellow chair beyond changed hands for GBP 660.00 (€ 981.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Other works by Clarisse Loxton Peacock have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in August 2006 by the work Flowers on a chair at GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,516.80).
