Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work A long handled frying pan, pitcher and a grapefruit in a basket, on a table by Clarisse Loxton Peacock. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,338.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Clarisse Loxton Peacock have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2006 the work Flowers on a chair was auctioned for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,516.80).

Im August 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A long handled frying pan, pitcher and a grapefruit in a basket, on a table von Clarisse Loxton Peacock zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 900,00 (€ 1.338,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Clarisse Loxton Peacock konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2006 die Arbeit Flowers on a chair für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.516,80) versteigert.
