Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Riviere Vefsna - Helgeland, Norvege by Clarence Gagnon was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2012. The price achieved of CAD 7,200.00 (€ 5,572.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clarence Gagnon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St. Malo From The Cliffs Of Saint-Briac in November 2012 with an auction result of CAD 433,750.00 (€ 335,697.83).
