In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Still Life With Flowers by Clare Atwood. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 454.10 (€ 653.57), 51% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Clare Atwood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Billingsgate fish market, London in March last year with an auction result of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 6,046.62).

Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers von Clare Atwood zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 454,10 (€ 653,57) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Clare Atwood auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Billingsgate fish market, London im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 6.046,62).
