Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Blue Pyramid by Claire Tabouret was auctioned at Christies in New York in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 16,380.00 (€ 1,980.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claire Tabouret achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Last Day in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 622,500.00 (€ 731,277.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Blue Pyramid von Claire Tabouret kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 16.380,00 (€ 1.980,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claire Tabouret erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Last Day im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 622.500,00 (€ 731.277,14).
