Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Charity by C. J. Tañedo. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,231.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Other works by C. J. Tañedo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2011 the work Enchanting Depths was auctioned for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 9,812.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Charity von C. J. Tañedo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.231,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von C. J. Tañedo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2011 die Arbeit Enchanting Depths für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 9.812,15) versteigert.
