Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Li Junyi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in May this year. In the Michael Goedhuis | Brush and Bronze auction, the work Painting in Poetry, 2012 sold for GBP 17,850.00 (€ 20,768.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Li Junyi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mao Triptych: Wan Sui, Wan Shui, Wan Wan Sui, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 562,500.00 (€ 68,544.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Junyi erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Michael Goedhuis | Brush and Bronze wurde die Arbeit Painting in Poetry, 2012 für GBP 17.850,00 (€ 20.768,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Li Junyi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mao Triptych: Wan Sui, Wan Shui, Wan Wan Sui beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 562.500,00 (€ 68.544,38) versteigert wurde.
