Auction result well in line with expectations
The work There’s Snow Again VI by Chui Pui Chee was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2018. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,585.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chui Pui Chee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work There’s the Snow Again VI, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,994.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit There’s Snow Again VI von Chui Pui Chee kam im März 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.585,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Chui Pui Chee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit There’s the Snow Again VI beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.994,79) versteigert wurde.
