Auction result misses estimated price range
In February last year a collector was able to acquire the work Unlimited Passion by Chuang Che for HKD 94,500.00 (€ 10,768.49). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art Online at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 240,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chuang Che achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 156,515.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Unlimited Passion von Chuang Che für HKD 94.500,00 (€ 10.768,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 240.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chuang Che erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 156.515,04).
