Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract by Chu Teh-Chun was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. The price achieved of HKD 204,000.00 (€ 19,783.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chu Teh-Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonie Hivernale in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 229,568,000.00 (€ 24,578,851.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract von Chu Teh-Chun wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 204.000,00 (€ 19.783,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chu Teh-Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonie Hivernale im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 229.568.000,00 (€ 24.578.851,54).
