Admittedly, works by Christopher Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Angola to Vietnam in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 81,877.14).

C. Wednesday, April 6, 2005 von Christopher Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 16.325,47) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christopher Williams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Angola to Vietnam im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 81.877,14).
