This artwork by Christopher Le Brun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2007. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work Autumnal breeze sold for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,448.42) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christopher Le Brun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Union (Horse with Two Discs) in June this year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,635.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christopher Le Brun erzielte im Januar 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Autumnal breeze für GBP 960,00 (€ 1.448,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christopher Le Brun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Union (Horse with Two Discs) im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.635,00).
