In December 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Eva Oder Erwachen by Christoph Voll. The auction ended at the price of EUR 35,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Christoph Voll have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Porträt des Kritikers Arthur Binz in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 153,264.07).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eva Oder Erwachen von Christoph Voll zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 35.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christoph Voll auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Porträt des Kritikers Arthur Binz im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 153.264,07).
