In the Old Masters Evening Sale auction, the work Portrait Of Barbara Schwarz changed hands for GBP 788,750.00 (€ 880,123.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Portrait Of Barbara Schwarz is the most expensive artwork by Christoph Amberger that we have observed at auction so far.
