This artwork by Christo Coetzee achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2011. In the The BAT Artventure Collection formerly known as The Peter Stuyvesant Collection – Part Three auction, the work without title sold for EUR 1,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christo Coetzee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 21,325.00 (€ 19,127.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christo Coetzee erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The BAT Artventure Collection formerly known as The Peter Stuyvesant Collection – Part Three wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 1.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christo Coetzee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.325,00 (€ 19.127,28).
