Despite a disappointment, a good price for Christina Paterson Ross
In May 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Fairy Tales by Christina Paterson Ross for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,498.12). This price was achieved in the auction Scottish Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Fairy Tales is the most expensive artwork by Christina Paterson Ross that we have observed at auction so far.
