The work Funny Darthea by Christiane Durand was worth EUR 875.00 to a buyer in July 2011. This price was achieved in the auction Intérieurs at Christies in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 200.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Christiane Durand; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Mariée sold at auction in July 2010 with the realized price of EUR 1,500.00.
