In March 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Decorative Arts Sale incl. Fine Paintings, which included the work Uhlans and French prisoners of war in a winterlandscape by Christian Sell. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,750.00 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Christian Sell have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 3,720.00 in September 2019 for the work Gefechtsszene aus dem Dreißigjährigen Krieg.

Im März 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Decorative Arts Sale incl. Fine Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uhlans and French prisoners of war in a winterlandscape von Christian Sell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.750,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Christian Sell haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.720,00 im September 2019 für die Arbeit Gefechtsszene aus dem Dreißigjährigen Krieg beobachtet.
