Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christian Sell could be acquired at Il Ponte in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Soldati prussiani changed hands for EUR 500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Christian Sell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gefechtsszene aus dem Dreißigjährigen Krieg in September 2019 with an auction result of EUR 3,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Sell konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Soldati prussiani für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Sell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gefechtsszene aus dem Dreißigjährigen Krieg im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.720,00.
