In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work A Rhenish Landscape With A House And Figures Unloading Their Boat; A Rhenish Landscape With Ruins And Figures Conversing In The Foreground by Christian Georg Schütz the Younger. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,626.78), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Christian Georg Schütz the Younger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dawn: a Rhenish river landscape with a stevedore loading a boat; and Dusk: a Rhenish river landscape with castle on a hill in April 2006 with an auction result of GBP 27,600.00 (€ 39,834.60).

Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Rhenish Landscape With A House And Figures Unloading Their Boat; A Rhenish Landscape With Ruins And Figures Conversing In The Foreground von Christian Georg Schütz the Younger zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.626,78) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Georg Schütz the Younger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dawn: a Rhenish river landscape with a stevedore loading a boat; and Dusk: a Rhenish river landscape with castle on a hill im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.600,00 (€ 39.834,60).
