The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 3,250.00 (€ 2,865.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Mali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Idyllischer Sommertag am Chiemsee. in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 38,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mittagsrast in der Scheune. 1880. von Christian Mali kam im September 2018 bei Koller zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 3.250,00 (€ 2.865,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Mali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Idyllischer Sommertag am Chiemsee. im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.750,00.
