In January 2024 Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included this untitled work by Christian Dotremont. The auction ended at the price of DKK 4,000.00 (€ 3,495.89), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Dotremont achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mais de temps à autre in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 38,200.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Christian Dotremont zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 4.000,00 (€ 3.495,89) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Dotremont erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mais de temps à autre im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.200,00.
