The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,528.00 71% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Christian Dotremont have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mais de temps à autre in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 38,200.00.

Die Arbeit Etude pour logogramme, texte incertain von Christian Dotremont wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.528,00 und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Dotremont auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mais de temps à autre im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.200,00.
