Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two Nudes and Mirror, 1970s by Chris von Wangenheim was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,041.24). Admittedly, works by Chris von Wangenheim have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lisa Taylor, Publicité pour Christian Dior, 1976 in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 23,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two Nudes and Mirror, 1970s von Chris von Wangenheim kam im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.041,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris von Wangenheim auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lisa Taylor, Publicité pour Christian Dior, 1976 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.750,00.
