Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Madison Square Garden, 2002 by Chris Murray for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,690.26). This price was achieved in the auction Outsider Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Chris Murray have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2019 by the work Macy's Department Store, 2005 at USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,273.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
