Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Echo Navigo (Adult) by Choe U-Ram was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 51,944.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Choe U-Ram - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Varietal Urbanus Female (Scientific Name: Anmopista Volaticus Floris Uram), which sold at auction in May 2007 for HKD 1,560,000.00 (€ 148,543.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Echo Navigo (Adult) von Choe U-Ram kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 51.944,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Choe U-Ram mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Varietal Urbanus Female (Scientific Name: Anmopista Volaticus Floris Uram) beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für HKD 1.560.000,00 (€ 148.543,82) versteigert wurde.
