Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Meet "S" by Cho Taikho for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,950.69). This price was achieved in the auction Japanese and Korean Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Cho Taikho have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2009 by the work Meet "J" at USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,417.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Meet "S" von Cho Taikho für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.950,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Cho Taikho wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im September 2009 die Arbeit Meet "J" mit USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.417,63).
