Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Milo 09 by Chloe Piene was sold in the Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped auction at Phillips in an online auction in December 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,113.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Chloe Piene have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Demure in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,257.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Milo 09 von Chloe Piene wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Wrapped/Unwrapped bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.113,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chloe Piene auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Demure im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 5.257,99).
