Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Happy Garden A by Chiharu Nishizawa was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,208.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiharu Nishizawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Enjoy Car Life - C in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 54,952.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Happy Garden A von Chiharu Nishizawa wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.208,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiharu Nishizawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Enjoy Car Life - C im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.500,00 (€ 54.952,92).
