This artwork by Chiharu Nishizawa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Diorama (office life A, B, C) sold for HKD 540,000.00 (€ 54,239.85) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Chiharu Nishizawa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Enjoy Car Life - C sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 54,952.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chiharu Nishizawa erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Diorama (office life A, B, C) für HKD 540.000,00 (€ 54.239,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Chiharu Nishizawa; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Enjoy Car Life - C im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 667.500,00 (€ 54.952,92).
