Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Passion Juvenille, 2019 by Chéri Cherin was sold in the African Contemporary Art Online auction at Artcurial in March last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,723.00 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chéri Cherin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La plus belle femme d'Afrique in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,562.00 (€ 31,990.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Passion Juvenille, 2019 von Chéri Cherin wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion African Contemporary Art Online bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.723,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chéri Cherin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La plus belle femme d'Afrique im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.562,00 (€ 31.990,38).
