The work Abstract Landscape by Cheong Soo Pieng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. It achieved a price of HKD 403,200.00 (€ 47,313.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheong Soo Pieng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature's Inspiration in November this year with an auction result of HKD 11,507,000.00 (€ 1,350,289.70).

Die Arbeit Abstract Landscape von Cheong Soo Pieng kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 47.313,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cheong Soo Pieng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature's Inspiration im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.507.000,00 (€ 1.350.289,70).
