Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included this untitled work by Cheong Laitong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,867.47), 19% above the upper estimate. Other works by Cheong Laitong have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,372.43) in May 2014 for the work Unknown.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cheong Laitong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.867,47) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Cheong Laitong haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.372,43) im Mai 2014 für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet.
