This artwork by Chen Zizhuang achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. In the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction, the work Bird And Flower sold for HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,066.83) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zizhuang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peonies And Rock in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,320,000.00 (€ 219,961.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Zizhuang erzielte im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia wurde die Arbeit Bird And Flower für HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.066,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zizhuang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peonies And Rock im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.320.000,00 (€ 219.961,78).
