Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Pine Tree by Chen Zihe. The price achieved of HKD 13,200.00 (€ 13,479.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zihe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Su Shi Returning Drunk in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 605,000.00 (€ 439,137.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pine Tree von Chen Zihe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 13.200,00 (€ 13.479,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zihe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Su Shi Returning Drunk im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 605.000,00 (€ 439.137,69).
