Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain Dwelling by Chen Yuan was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 23,000.00 (€ 2,139.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Yuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Correspondence in December this year with an auction result of HKD 478,800.00 (€ 55,402.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountain Dwelling von Chen Yuan wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.000,00 (€ 2.139,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Yuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Correspondence im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 478.800,00 (€ 55.402,64).
