Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Gold Talk by Chen Xinmao for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,585.05). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Asia: Including a Collection of Works by Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Chen Xinmao have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2018 by the work Three Untitled Works at USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,497.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Gold Talk von Chen Xinmao für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.585,05) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Including a Collection of Works by Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Xinmao wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Three Untitled Works mit USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.497,86).
