Fine Chen Wenxi Paintings and Chinese Paintings from the Collection of Mr. Lam 林氏珍藏中國書畫及陳文希佳作 Lots 927-931 林氏乃陳文希姪孫，曾跟隨叔公陳文希習畫多年。本輯三件陳文希作品皆為陳氏親贈。其中〈松猿圖〉(拍品編號928)乃兩人合寫，林氏先畫頑石老松，將未完成畫稿自本港寄至新加坡，陳文希收到畫作，審視畫面佈局，在恰當處補上一隻小黑猿並屬款，至此畫意圓滿，再寄回香港供林氏學習並珍藏。陳文希經營畫室，課徒有道，對自己姪孫勠力提携，自不待言。一九八六年，香港中文大學主辦的〈當代中國繪畫〉展覽，假香港大會堂舉行，陳文希有兩幅極精彩的作品參展，其一構圖與本次上拍的〈家鄉印象〉(拍品編號929)類近，陳文希因在該幅作品旁題寫「旭忠姪孫紀念，1986、5、10」。
