Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Day and Night #74 by Chen Ting-Shih was sold in the Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,711.71), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Ting-Shih achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Seasons in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 164,345.17).
