Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Day and Night #25 by Chen Ting-Shih was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 327,600.00 (€ 40,877.75). Admittedly, works by Chen Ting-Shih have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four Seasons in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 164,345.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Day and Night #25 von Chen Ting-Shih kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 327.600,00 (€ 40.877,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Ting-Shih auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Four Seasons im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 164.345,17).
