Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Day and Night #17 by Chen Ting-Shih was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,711.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Ting-Shih achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Seasons in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 164,345.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Day and Night #17 von Chen Ting-Shih kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 23.940,00 (€ 2.711,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Ting-Shih erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four Seasons im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 164.345,17).
